The perfect match for me...

I huffed and puffed my way through the stairways of the hospital. The numbers revolving in my mind “Thirteenth floor, room number six hundred sixty six.” As I reached the floor. I sensed the dead science of the floor break by the sound of my foot steps on the polished marvel floor. The nurse station was empty too. There was a huge white table with mugs filled with freshly made tea. I looked at the mugs and noticed vapors coming out so I tried to get warmth from them on the cold winter day. Suddenly there was an announcement “ surgeons of all stations are requested to report in room number six hundred sixty six.”

My eyes widened as I knew something was wrong. Then came a rattling sound and an elevator door slid open and a team of doctors dressed in masks with hands filled with syringes rushed in a room and I thought “ WTF man I could have taken the elevator!”

Anyways, I could feel adrenaline being secreted in my blood and I started breathing faster and my heart ached by thinking of the loss I was about to obtain.

I squeezed the bunch of pink rouses in my hand as I went into a flashback. The thorns passed through my flesh and sank deep in my blood like the tip of a feather pen drowns in ink to engrave words on a piece of paper (yes, the pen used by Harry potter…) but it didn’t hurt. I wasn’t thinking properly. I went into a state of shock and stood watching at the door of the room six hundred and sixty six as blood dripped from my hand on to the floor.

Finally the door opened and doctors and surgeons came out of the room. Their gloves covered in blood and the green and fancy dresses were sprayed with blood too. I popped back to my senses and rushed into the room. There she was resting on her back with hands on her stomach, paler than a dead person. I looked around and saw devices beeping to the sound of her heart. The needles stuck in her hands. I pulled out the stems of roses out of my hand with a silent but painful ouch. I placed them on the bed side table and sat on the black chair besides her bed for the visitors.

I kept my hand on her lifeless cold hand and said “every thing will by fine”

I expected her not to respond as she was in a deep sleep. Suddenly I felt a shake in her hand and her head turned towards me. She had sleepy eyes, half opened like a half moon in the darkness of the night. She struggled and said “yes! But I am in a lot of pain.” Her voice turned into whispers and she lastly said “save me!!” and tears came out of her eyes and went down her cheeks. She smiled as she looked at me. I looked back with no expression on my face and finally her pleasant smile turned into a grim one and she screamed in deep pain and coughed out blood.

I couldn't see her suffering and so I stood up to pull the plug on her. I was about to free her from all the pain but then came a whisper “wait! Please find a cure for me, I want to live with you.” I knew the cure was impossible to find and I too wanted to live with her but I couldn't see her perfectly carved body twisting and turning in pain. So I mad up my mind and pulled the plug.

All the machines went silent, the drips connected in her vain stopped but there was one beep getting faster and faster. I turned around and looked at her. She raised her hand steadily and folded the figures and popped out the middle figure and said “eat shit! I knew that you would do this. I told you that I want to live with you.” A perfect match for me, I thought as I closed my eyes and felt the building go down in flames.

Now we were floating in mid air, hand in hand looking down on the Earth and watching the rescue team dig our bodies out of the rubble.

Don’t look at me! I was born with a numb brain…

Also since most of my crew members are dead or busted by the cops, I am in search of new members. Let me know if any one is interested…
